ParticipantI’m thinking of buying a Samsung RSH1NHMH, does anybody know if this model has any similar design issues that affect RS21? both models start with RS so I’m not sure if problems affect both models?
there don’t seem to be many posts about RSH1NHMH so I’m not sure if there are any specific issues I should be wary of (apart from it being cheap and korean) ?
any help much appreciated…

so there is a link?
what is this kit used for, how and when is it used? has it been applied by samsung for all new units or do they only apply kit if customer reports problem? or is kit something customer needs to use?

Participantit should have the modification applied if you buy a new unit… its nothing the consumer has anything to do with, it was a safety precaution, thats all
but ive seen a few faulty ones, with warm fridges

ok thanks thats good to know..
why is this kit needed and would I be able to check a new unit has come with kit installed?
assuming new unit comes with this kit, are there any other problems that mean I should stay away?
it comes with 2year samsung warranty so I guess that would cover any issues…

It was bought on price and spec from Comet and it does the Job
I couldn’t afford a maytag or smeg so went for the RSH1 .And yes Helo before you ask I have carried out the mod 😆
