Had a fault this week with a Diplomat D/W started to fill then just emptied alarm bleeping prog gone back to rinse and start led flashing,Now here’s the thing i tested the reed switch with a magnet and meter and it tested ok ,But out of desperation i replaced the reed switch and machine worked fine ,switch was from maplin £1.50 soldered it onto the board result hope this might be helpful to some in the future.
yes thanks for that. however there have been long discussions on this topic. i carry the reeds on van get them from cpc for about 50p. just swapped out an indesit fill matrix last week. gonna solder reed in old panel and try it on next job.

Hi, is this on the water inlet? If so what is the reed switch number as I seem to be getting a few of these lately.
Thanks
PS. do they also fit the Bosch impeller jug?
yes robbra it works with the bosch ones as well . Also cutting the block of as well and soldering the wires directly to the pcb works well to , thats an official fix from the gias group .
And NO, I wouldn’t mess with Bosch impellor jugs, the impellor wheel wears and gets limescaled up anyway. Better to always replace them with new units. 😉
I can understand faffing around with micro components on large, expensive PCB’s but the Bosch and Indesit/Hotpoint impellor jug assemblies are as cheap as chips anyway. :con:
