Just looking at Turbos heater change thread in the Tech forum followed the fastener link and saw grub screws on the page.
Brought back many a call when I worked for Hotpoint tightening up or changing (or filing the point off 😉 ) condenser fan grub screws on 99** washer dryers 👿 .
That and the thermal fuse kits every time you fitted a set of brushes to one. Reminded me of why I used to hate washer dryers so much.
Any other manufacturer mods that brought tears to your eyes?

Yep…yonks ago the Curry’s own brand San Georgio used to airlock on the drain pump because they did away with an air bleed hose off the filter unit.

The mod?….simple….don’t fit another bleed hose, just replace the timer with a type that would pulse the pump on and off to allow the air to bleed…only about 50 separate wires to swap on a harness that was tighter than a tight thing 😕
