What are your thoughts on these? Are the guarantees worth anything or not the paper they are printed on? Does anyone have experience buying anything like this?

I am moving into a 6 month let on a house, with no white goods. I have been in a flat for 18months and am looking to buy a place during the next 6 months, however if i find no where i may move south instead. Depends on circumstances.

Having perused the guides and forums here the ideal purchases would be:
    miele wda110
    bosch KGE39BW41G
    Zanussi ZDC8202P
All from john lewis. If i have to sell after 6 months it will be a significant loss on £1400 ish that could be used elsewhere. Hence the ebay search. I also have a van this weekend so i could pick some of these up if i go the ebay route as im not sure a 7.5 tonne delivery lorry will get near this new rental place. This is causing me a headache!

My alternatives i suppose are a cheap bosch washer, £229 from jl, the same dryer, and a cheaper fridge , indesit? total there would be 750 ish.

To be fair ive got a great deal on this place for 6 months which is why i took it, so even at £1400 spent i save money over the term but its still a pain for 6 months. Before the flat i had a house with a miele washer that never missed a beat, and a dryer of theirs that had about 20 callouts and continued to break after the 5 year warranty and through the extended 1 year on that. I was on 1st name terms with the repair man. The last callout for that was a bill for £1150 to fix it! It went in the bin. So i have mixed feelings on miele dryers at least and am familiar with the repair bills.
I move on Saturday so i have to decide now really. Any help navigating the above would be welcome!
