Can i take it that your unable to offer me any advise regarding the fault on my fridge, and my best course of action is to buy a new one.

So it appears gadge? But it would have been better had you just stuck to the original thread rather than opening 2 more on the same subject. :rolls:

It sounds like a PCB or thermistor fault, probably a PCB knowing Candy refrigeration but there’s only one way to tell on those, replace it.

It’s not always that someone picks up a thread that has a clue quickly.

2 user names – im not the best on computers and email adresses, using computer at home and at work so just found it easier to register twice ! been offered a Hoover HCF6185 for 235 brand new in the box… compared to 96 for an engineer plus parts ( 60 -130 for a pcb ).

Parents have always had Candy / Hoover, my old fridge freezer, an earlier model and still going strong which my brother has now, so yeah, id get another…. 5 yr parts guarantee too !!
