ParticipantHalf way through doing a bearing job on a Creda IWM12 intergrated washing machine, i noticed that the stainless steel outer tub doesn’t appear to come apart to change the drum. ?????????? Whats going on here? Am I right in thinking this?

What you have is yet another example of the sort of rubbish that the Indecent Company is throwing out on the market under the guise of long established British machines. I don’t care a fig for what former RAF people with only a few years in the trade think 😉 . It is a pile of Italian poo. You are correct, inner and outer drum are an assembly costing £80.00 + vat, list price. 😥

Damn! Right, own up, who told him?! 😆
Jim’s absolutely right, this seems to be the latest trend in making machine into landfill before their time. Electrolux is at it as well.
Makes it a write of… customer buys a new one…
Just think on who gains.

i called out to a fairly new 7kg servis machine with a broken paddle customer washing training shoes, the paddle is not a seperate part it only comes with a tub and drum assembly fortunately for the customer it turned out to be still in guarantee.

ParticipantNot good at all, but I suppose it’s to be expected with Servis Brand. It really is the pitts! I would imagine the tub and drum would cost more than a replacment machine.

here we are in 2007 with tony blair trying to reduce our carbon foot print and the manufacturers have thrown quality out of the window because of a cost driven public who see money before reliability.
i see more 18 nmonth old mascines and scrap them than i ever did all this machinery has to be replaced and more carbon dioxide is produced in the manufacturewe need to promote ourselves as the green alternative.
Apart from when i eat sprouts i do not produce that much greenhouse gasDave

Don’t forget the government gets 17.5{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} vat of this lot plus the vat of everything else involved in manufacturing etc. 😥 oh and it keeps the British workforce fully employed 😆
