KeymasterHad a titan schedule through from D&G the other day.
Offering £45.00 per call but no Technical training at all. I have formally requested my engineers are trained on the product whilst advising D&G I retain the right to withdraw from a Titan call where lack of training might cause a lowering of the standards we apply to ourselves.
I had lindsay in knots as she tried to defend their position in not offering training because of low volumes……….
I asked her if she really wanted my engineer to tell the customer Titan were not prepared to support the network with “real” product training, she replied some shite which i blew away.
If you work for D&G have a fun filled 10 minute phone call and ask Lindsay yourself….. perhaps they’ll get the message

We had a training course about 4 years ago on the earlier version, and still have a box of spares.
I suspect we will never see one.

Different machine in many ways Alex.
I wasn’t chuffed when I saw the £45 rate as a belt change would be an easy hour+ let alone that bloody tub seal or the bearings.
If they pay me enough, so I can pay Sean and Gegsy to do it, we could make a video to train with. Not doing it for free though and I’m not doing anything that takes over an hour for £45 either.
Sean and Broken Digit were supposed to be looking at the one that they have there.

Before we saw the machine there was the posibility if you remember that we were going to consider adding it to the ISE range.
When we actually saw the thing we decided not to go with it and you said not to bother doing a repair guide as in all our opinions it wasn’t worth it for the number that they would be likely or indeed lucky to sell.
If you want an in depth apraisal i’ll give it you for free :-
The machine is an absolute bag of sh1te that is a nightmare to work on and far too heavy for the average engineer to even drag out from under a worktop with out serious risk of growing a third bollock. So any training video would have to be ‘X’ rated.

It looks a total tw@t to work on TBH. Will get round to stripping it, just looks like I would have reached retirement age when we got to strip the drum 😆 It may be solid but its no engineer friendly machine.

KeymasterSo I was a bit at a loose end this afternoon, in fact I wanted a break from looking at a load of financials so I thought to myself, “what do I do to cheer myself up”? Well I found the answer.
I mailed Lindsay and gave her grief about holding back my Goddamn money (>£2K) and Titan being a pile of shite that I want over £80 to be arsed to look at.
I’m guessing that I’ll get a reply on Monday. 😉
