ParticipantSo far been using a Stanley FatMax 18” tool bag for all my essential tools (am on my second one), but not long ago did my back in (not related to work), so was looking to get a tool bag on wheels to spare the old lumbar vertebrae and soft tissue. I’ve also not been that impressed with the second bag, which is supposedly a straight replacement but after only a few months, the handle is split and one of the zip tags has snapped. First one lasted a few years. Looking at reviews, none of the bags on sale seem to have sturdy wheels. They seem to break very quickly, with perhaps the exception of the Klein Tradesman Pro Organiser Rolling Tool Bag though wasn’t really looking to spend £200…
Anyone using a tool bag on wheels, if so which one and are you happy with it?

Moderatorproblem is with tool bags you get what you pay for
have been using this one
expensive yes but its is by far the best bag i have ever had. all tools stored vertically so no scrabbling round and easy to see if one is missing
they do do a wheel one but its well out your budget

all there products carry a limited 5 year warranty so if you span it over 5 years its not that bad

ParticipantYes, I’m on my 2nd Stanley bag too. I also have one of these, ticks all the boxes. I have had it for 20 years and it hasn’t fallen apart, I feel it was almost purpose built for our job, so versatile. Never lost or left a tool behind, you can sit or stand on it and use the top cover on its own to tilt over a machine onto it, has so many other uses. Sorry no wheels though. Tbox 400 available on eBay and Amazon in France.

ParticipantThanks for that Dave and Doug, some good suggestions, however not sure either will be any good for my back? 🙁
No-one using wheels then?

ParticipantVeto Pro pac get a thumbs up from me – fantastic quality, really well thought out and a real time saver on the job. I’ve had the smaller LC version for well over 5 years – big enough for all the tools and meters I need for 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of jobs.
One of the zips is starting to go, so I’ll be looking to buy another soon. The new wheeled version intrigues me, but in my opinion compromised by trying to double up as a back pack.
