I have a Beko DWD5411W unit. Just recently the its not been washing at all well, and the top basket washing is just poor. I ran the unit with nothing in, and quickly opened the door, and noted the top arm did not appear to be spinning. I disconnected it, and cleaned it out, but it wasnt dirty anyway. Ran the unit again with no top arm, and there appears to be water coming out of the connection, but looks at a low pressure. I bypassed the door interlock, and ran the unit with the door open (likely not a good idea, but only for a few secs). The bottom arm was spinning but slowly, and the top arm nothing. Water was coming out of all the holes in the arms, but weakly. The unit also appears to take longer to fill, around 2 mins. Has anyone got any ideas. Used the bottom shelf only this morning, and things cleaned but there still appeared a little bit of residue.
Not adverse to taking it apart, replaced the water inlet valve on it last year.

Ok. Inlet Filter is clean. Had the whole top arm feed assembly in bits and there are no blockages to top arm flow. Put it all back together, and same. There is flow coming out of the top arm, but its not spinning. Its definately not clogged. Oddly it washes everything on the bottom shelf fine, when I was testing with nothing in the top basket, so just using unit with bottom basket only, and leaving top empty.

I have no clue on Beko dishwashers but many other brands have a ‘water distributor device’ that switches the water flow too and fro between the top arm and the bottom in turn. Such a device integral or close to the output of the circulation pump. And if your Beko has such a device then it sounds like that is stuck and not switching between each spray arm. 😉
