KeymasterSorry – should have been more specific.
If the Guest with the item for sale has pictures of it they can upload the picture to that URL and it provides hypertext links for use in forums.
I wasn’t advertising – its just a handy resource and I meant the Guest to use it.
Apologies, looking at my post again it isn’t very clear and sounds like it could link to anything!!!

I used to have a Homark which I got from B&Q. Used it for about 5 years until both pumps went. Had it set into the worktop like a second sink.
Fantastic bit of kit – really sorry I threw it out instead of repairing it – have not seen one for years.

You can still get them I believe.
Homark model was/is SE4400 now normally under the “Cookers” brand name with the model (02-)900500.
I would imagine this would be under the PABL hat now.

Sorry for the triple post but I can’t edit being a guest.
Since these appear as rare as rocking horse………I was considering getting one of the table-top type dishwashers. However I would like to put it under my sink, although not sure how much room I have available under there at the mo. One pitfall I can envisage is the waster outlet, since it may have to go ‘upfill’ to join the waster pipe or at least horizontally. Anyone know if these generally drain by gravity, are pumped, whether they have a non-return valve? Any suggestions/recommendations, advice or problems I haven’t though of?
Hhmmmm, first time buyer and suddently I am all excited about white goods……..

Join, Chris, join……….
All the compact/table top machines use an electric pump to drain the water and can reasonably lift about 1.5 metres. Only thing to be careful about is routing the outlet hose to avoid the possibility of back filling from the sink spigot.

Starting to stray a little off topic now, but I hope you will bear with me.
Still don’t know the dimensions of the hole into which I would like to hide a compact/tabletop dishwasher but having had a look on t’internet it would appear these 3 models are the state of the art on my budget.
Bosch SKT5102 Dishwasher
Bosch SKT5108 Dishwasher
Zanussi DCE5655 Dishwasher
All are quiet and receive good grades on washing and drying, if these are to be believed. The Zanussi does have the advantage of squeezing 6 place settings into a body the size of the two Bosch models. Does anyone have any comments on these machines, or comments and suggestions on any other models or generally?

KeymasterSounds like I will be getting a Bosch washing machine AND dishwasher then. You don’t happen to be a Bosch employee, do you Don……………. 😉
Now just got to find a ‘local’ retailer who’s shop doesn’t look like a junk yard.
