Top Oven

Hi Have a Hotpoint Creda S420EKH, 07341140000 and the top oven is not heating fully. The element has been changed and it seemed to heat but I got a thermometer and it is only heating to 130 degrees. Thermostat light stays on all the time. Thanks

most top ovens have 2 elements. one is the grill element but there is another one under the floor.
which one did you change ?

The one at the top with three small tubes

in that case there is another element under the floor. If that has failed it wont get to temp

you have to take the back off the cooker to access it
