top spray arm wont turn Whirlpool adg 6340

Hi

The top spray arm is not turning and there is no water coming out of it either. There is water coming from the bottom arm but it is turning very slowly and there is no water coming from the spray head on the side wall (at least that’s what I think it is) I have checked the filters and spray arms for blockages and every thing seems clean. I have read the FAQ which suggests the problem could be with my pump. Are there any other possibilties other than the pump as this is an expensive part to replace and find that it is not the problem or is it possible to have them repaired.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I removed the pump from it’s housing and noticed that there were rubber inserts acting as a drive beween motor and impeller. I inserted a shim rubber to improve grip but the motor still sounds a bit ropey (like noisy bearings although i know there is none). Can I replace these rubbers or do I need to buy a complete motor pump assembly.By the way, the pump is pumping much better but not perfectly.

There are no components available for the Askoll motor.
