Hello.
A couple weeks ago the middle coil stopped working throwing an E4 error.
So we stopped cooking with it. Instead only used the left and right sides.
A week or so ago the middle blew, or something certainly blew and tripped the RCD.
I turned the RCD back on and the middle and right coils all had E4 flashing.
Makes sense given the right side daisy chains off the middle.
I take it all apart and take a look at the middle, yep it defo blew, scorched marks etc etc.
So I order a replacement based on the part number 75.08014.860(potentially my first rookie mistake here).
It comes, I plonk it in, turn everything on and well it “technically” works.
So now the middle and bottom right hobs are showing E4.
But the top left is fine. So I turned the top left on and put the kettle on it. Nothing happens. Huh I think. I start to put the kettle on all the coils and when its on the middle coil(the new one) it starts to make the buzzing sound of working.
I see a few posts about induction hobs being able to be reconfigured because of all the different layouts but I can’t for the life of me find the procedure for mine if it exists.
Any help would be appreciated, also would it be safe to use the middle coil? I don’t know if its the filter board that controls the voltage to it or the induction board itself. So if it thinks its the top left coil I don’t want it causing any damage.
Are these boards configured from the factory type deal or is it possible to reassign them?
Cheers
Martin
I also have a few spare parts handy, like for example the right side coils, they are the same part number 75.08014.710 but not the same SW version number. That combination also has a different E4 error.
