Hi
I have a lot of experience in the white goods industry – I’ve just returned to the UK from Sydney Australia where I had worked for 8 years for a leading manufacturer – before that I’d worked at both engineer and management level for one of the biggest manufacturers in Europe – I’ve been home now for 3 weeks and am actively seeking employment – as I’m effectively unemployed is it possible to get trade access or advice from people in the trade as to where I should look now – the previous employer has drawn a blank – we will be living in Cheshire

Welcome to the UK and the forums 😀

There is a trade access link here which will help get you started. Bear in mind it is bank holiday weekend so you may not get an instant reply.

I’m aware of the procedure but as I said I’ve just returned from Australia and so am unemployed and have no company email or company Id – the only thing I have is an expired ACS id which I didn’t need in NSW – I still have contacts in Australia who could verify I’m in the trade – Is there anything else I can do?
