Hi there. I want to replace my perfectly adequate 3 year old washing machine for a washing/tumble drier combo. My local dealer will take away my old one, but give me no money for it as part of a trade-in deal. I don’t have the room to store the old one to sell it myself, so does anyone know a firm that does trade-in deliveries in the South London area?
    Any help much appreciated
    Cheers
    Chris

if theres nowt wrong with it advertise it on ebay with a local pickup only

    depending on the brand you’ll get between £30 – £100 😉

Normally I would and have in the past, but a lack of room means this isn’t possible.
But, can anyone recommend a decent washer dryer? I quite like Tricity bendix (I hear they are made by Zanussi?) and my current washer is one of those and I have no probs with it.
Here’s one a bloke in a local shop sells, but online it’s cheaper – worth a punt or could I get better?

Do please consider buying the machine from your “bloke in the local shop” even if it costs slightly more. You will get personal service backed up by his hard earned reputation no doubt. If it should even go wrong I am sure he can help out whereas buy cheap on the Internet and you’re on your own my friend 😉

    Worth a thought?
