The Buy With Confidence/Trading Standards scheme is being rolled out in several regions. It appears to be based on the model that Martin has been involved with for some time. 🙂

Our local council has phased out its own TradeSafe scheme and is now promoting the Buy With Confidence scheme. 8)

Details and a link to apply can be found HERE

As well you know guys I’ve been a member since 2004 of the brilliant scheme. The benefits of being a Trading Standards approved trader in generating new business is phenominal.

I believe you do a fair bit of work for Oldham council Jim and its only £50 pa to join the BWC scheme (+ one off £25 CRB check 😉 ) so what a perfect opportunity you have, more doors will open I’m sure… nice one. 😀

    Trading Standards

Luton doesn’t operate anything and local others won’t take you on even though you trade in their area.

If it involves spending money.. then Luton borough council won’t do it.
