training and working in spain

hi all,
thinking of doing a ”dixons” training course for domestic appliance engineer. then working self employed in spain.
couple of questions, i am concerned that 2 weeks training might not be enough to learn what is needed.
And can anyone advice of reliable supplier for parts in south costa blanca
region ?

A good friend of mine did the “Dixons” course and found it to be most comprehensive. I still get the occasional call for help, but he uses the trade section of this site for comprehensive technical support.

Suppliers? Haven’t a clue 🙁 .

I worked for Bosch in Spain for 2 years, then self employed for a couple more in the Costa Del Sol.

There are hundreds already there doin it, you`ll also need to be fluent en Castellano as suppliers are Spanish, plus theirs the complicated tax system for you to do every year, if you think our tax in the UK is complicated, try doubling it then put it into Spanish.

I left because its not much fun earning less money in 35 degree heat
