Tricity Ben’ 551 T’D no motor action

Gotta go to look at a Tricity-Bendix T’Dryer customer says it hums but doesn’t turn the drum, does start if there is no clothes in it, is there a capacitor on the start winding of this motor & if so what size?

Defiantly the capacitor Seamy Have you got the correct model number then can give you the part number for capacitor

TM551 is the model number & i’ve been told that its a 8uF Cap’ thats neede so i’ll take one of those along & see if it does the trick.
