can anyone help we are after a Tricity bendix shield vent in white for a dsie500 its a long piece of metal on the back of the hob which has a gap where heat comes from we have searched for months on the internet and no one can seem to source the part any help much appreciated 😛

Hi

I think your chance is very slim of finding one I’m afraid The part is now obsolete, The manufacturers have no record of that part number either. A Google search reveals nothing and neither does Ebay.

Yes ive almost give up on trying my only alternative now is to find someone with a broken cooker

Parts like this (classified as ‘appearance parts’) go obsolete very quickly so chances of getting one virtually impossible. Which begs the question, what is wrong with the one on your cooker?

its has bein damaged in a removal it has took some paint of it down to the bear metal

Then it should be easy enough to remove it, straighten out any dents, rub down the paint to bare metal then respray…..good as new! 💡
