    Our school has a very ancient (probably purchased 1985!) Tricity Bendix 800 washing machine which has just decided not to fill with water at all. It’s used reguarly, often twice a day, and was working OK last week.
    The mains light is lit and I noticed that I can still open the door. Does this indicate that the door latch module has ceased to work and if so what is the chance of a replacement and approx cost? If it’s not that then any other suggestions I can give the school caretaker?

    S/N 22000374 (it has a faded word ‘shower’ in blue on the front panel)
