By that I mean one after the other like they do sometimes when you do the fault code test thing. Left to right and then down. This is the one with the long board behind the fascia. The door doesn’t lock – no neutral getting to it apparently. By turning the dial to the left straight to prog 15, spin, and holding various buttons in I did get it to drain and spin but could not change that programme once selected, and could not get it to do any others. Checked board closely – no visible damage. Made sure all module connectors were clean and tight. Checked filter, one 5p did drop out but made no difference. Motor fine – unplugging it made no difference. P/sw gives 2 clicks and not blocked. NTC and heater not checked (beyond connections) but we don’t get problems with them down here. Interlock itself worked on that spin programme.
    Any ideas please?
    Mike.

Went back to this today and got into “last alarm code” from position 10.
It read E82 which is “error in selector reset position” > “possible fault = PCB faulty”. Plan to send board to EMW. Meantime, anyone else ever had this fault? I’m wondering if the selector switch might just need a spray of switch cleaner? Wish I’d thought of that whilst still at the house.

Just to round off this one.
Got new s/h board from EMW which looked totally untouched, so don’t know if they were able to fix mine. Did the trick, anyway.
