ModeratorCannot get at this machine so I am going to return when they have disconnected the gas cooker and moved a cupboard. 😥
Customers step father has changed the drain pump, the displaced pump is perfect. Initial complaint is no spin.
Switch it to Prog 15 (spin) door locks, pump runs, drum revolves slowly for a few seconds then everything cuts out, after about 15/20 seconds the same thing happens again and again.
Switch to Prog 4 (40° wash) starts to fill then cuts out, again it fills in short bursts, cutting out for 15/20 seconds each time, no motor action on wash.
Apparently after a while the machine bleeps and ‘end’ neon flashes.Any ideas before I return ?

Hi
Did you notice how many times end led flashed? this led is used for first digit of error code. second alarm code is denoted by start/pause led.
Quick accsess to error code is press and hold in start/pasuse button and any option button together for 2 secs while machine is running. The alarm is shown buy these leds as long as the buttons are held down.
Have error codes if required.steve

I asked her about the flashes but she didn’t have a clue, with a noisy, smelly dog barking so loud I could hardly think I didn’t hang around.
That info is very useful, I will be able to use that without having to get the machine out.
Thanks.

Many thanks to Tubs, the information he gave me came up with error 52.
Motor/tacho/wiring all appear fine.
Removed module and can see burn marks and tracking on the component side of the board, just below the heat sink near a variable pot.Electrulux code 132148001
Firmware version W1D00109
AKO Code 547 502
Lp.auto (50630)Looks like water ingress from soap dispenser has seeped across the top edge of the machine, into the module.
I’m guessing that this mod will be on the pricy side.????
Do EMW/QER repair these yet?
