ParticipantHi,
Can anybody help me please.
During the wash cycle my machine keeps stopping and the wash, drain, spin and door lights all come on at once. It seems to lock up and not want to do anything. Resetting back to 0 then back to cycle number and pressing start again helps but obviously this restarts the whole cycle again.
It did it twice in one wash today. (It’s done it twice before)
Have I done something wrong or is it slowly failing?
Machine is nearly 4 years old if that makes a difference. Thanks

Have you cleaned the filter lately? If the filter is blocked or the outlet hose is obstructed, then it is very possible that the machine will stop. The computer will wait for the machine to drain and if it is too slow to empty, it will ‘time out’ and flash the led’s on the control panel. Check the filter and pump; test again and report back if the problem still occurs. Don’t get too worried about the age of the machine; the older ones are better built than the new offerings, so if yours can be saved, then that’s a result!
Hope that helps,
Steve.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
It was working fine for a week then started playing up again yesterday. I’ve cleaned the filter out, bit slimey but nothing in there.
It gets part way through the wash cycle then just sits there not doing anything with just the wash light on – then after a while they all come on.I’m having to manually change the cycle to rinse, drain and spin which seem to work ok, just plays up on the normal wash cycle.
edit to say: ok now it’s getting bad, it sits there with a bit of water in, I tried to reset it it just did a quick spin (for about a second) at about double speed then stopped – tried to put it on rinse, did the same. Drained and tried again and touchwood it’s working again but don’t think it’s going to last much longer. Any ideas before I call someone out?
