Got this job to go to on Friday. Fit part I ordered before Xmas.
    (Main Oven Door Seal 3116930011).
I have never fitted one of these before and would like to be better informed before I go.
Is this a soap and sqeeze down the gap around the oven cavity or am I likely to encounter something more challenging?.
    Thanks in anticipation,
    Mike.

Loosen the screws around the oven cavity, but beware, the screw in the middle at the bottom below the seal joint only holds a support bracket for the centre of the oven cavity. Undo it one turn or so until you can just gently prise the front panel away from cavity with a terminal screwdriver. I unscrewed one completely once -bracket fell off into vent space below oven- loads of fun getting it back in place. (take care not to chip enamel) Press end of seal into gap, pull out screwdriver from panel and continue to press seal around the oven until the ends meet. Retighten screws as you progress past them just enough to stop the seal popping off. When seal is central and even, tighten all screws. Job done. Drink coffee.
