ParticipantHi,
The program dial doesn’t seem to move on once i start it, I’ve cleaned all the parts in the bottom but it hasn’t helped.
Any ideas?

This is always a good starting point for odd faults:

Power off, of course.

Yeah I’ve cleaned those blue pipes so now I’ll checkout the horse shoe.
How easy and expensive would it be if it’s wiring or the knob motor?

Broken wiring is usually a patience job – check the area where the door pivots. If the timer motor has failed (unusual) you would be looking at replacing the timer as a unit – usually around the £80 mark.

Right, I cleaned the horseshoe hose last night and the dishwasher did a full cycle, but it wont do a second one. Do i need to check all the hoses again?

If it’s run a full cycle, you can eliminate the timer and wiring, so water level system it’s got to be….. Also check that the two airhoses have not got water in them – one goes to the level switch, the other to the inlet valve.
Stay safe – power off.

Hi,
I’ve done all the pipes again and it’s ran a cycle and a new one is just running now, I did notice once the 1st cycle was done that there was still alot of water in the bottom… is this normal?

There is always a bit of water left in the machine, but it should be below the level of the filters.

Shame really – don’t know what else to suggest. The inlet valve may be tripping on a nuisance basis – they do get old and the pnuematic system gets tired if repeatedly tripped.
Have you checked for a local independent engineer in your area?
