Original main oven thermostat obsolete.Replacement ET51 only has three connections A,B,C.Original had two connections on aux. contact for fan and light. The wiring info sent out with switch is as clear as mud.Anyone done this mod. or have any info ?
In short there are more wires to connect than locations.

Re: Tricity Bendix cooker SIE 531

even the diags are a bit wooly

not done this mod but i would guess the three connections are line in , fan out , element out

the live goes into old stat (2) through a switch (6) then to timer then back to stat (f)

i would guess take live to timer (5)
link wire from timer(6) to live in new stat
old wire from timer (5) needs to be on fan contact new stat

that leaves you with the element and neon wire to remaining contact

may a bit vague but its hard to explain have got wiring info but may not be able to send till next week if you want

    hope this helps

I know this is an old post but if the diag is available it may help me get one of these sorted.
    Many thanks in advance.

Thanks Dave. That does look helpful.
    Actually the cooker i’m dealing with is a Zanussi ZCE7701X P No 948522079 S No 24200280.
I’m replacing the thermostat and have the sheet but it isnt very clear. I have the oven working via the new ET51 stat but not programmable through the timer.
Am I correct in thinking the ET51 has the switch incoporated instead of being external as on the ET46TH?

would need to see the instructions but cant see how you have got it going without timer as main feed comes through it
