ParticipantHi guys I wonder if anyone can help me, at first the wife informed me that the dishwasher wasnt heating the element when it got to that part of the cycle as when the program had ran its full cycle when she opened it up it was normally all steamy but was just cold water so I looked up some cause for this, tried cleaning the horseshoe hose on bottom which looked clean and also inside the small dome shaped cover in the machine (pulled out blue things and cleaned all and poured down kettle boiled water down there to flush out any excess gunk, put it back together again and it worked twice then it stopped working with another problem (water not entering the machine) I noticed that the outside hose with the small washer seal with filter on the cold water hose looked as though it should be attached to the hose but was just sitting there. any ideas why the water isnt entering the machine?…obviously ive checked that the waters turned on so cant seem to pinpoint my next move?…any help would be great..

Ok ive had a look through some of the help forums, am I correct in thinking it might be an inlet valve thats away on this model and I also saw that some machines depending on the make and model have pressure switches?…can someone please advise if my model has a pressure switch and also if its an inlet valve thats away where I could buy one thanks.

Hi guys trying to fix this as I go along, I found another thread with the exactly the same problem as myself (same model too) under the dome inside the machine I put a piece of plastic copper wire into each hole with the end of my wire cut to form a kinda mini wire brush got some gunk out but not loads…also pushed it through the small horseshoe shaped plastic part near the centre of machine and also the small oblong shaped cover off cleaned through to the wire came back in both these channels to be visible in another hole nearer the front of the machine, the machine has about 6 inches of water remaining in the sump part and also visible in under the dome channels, I cleaned them with the mini brush but dont know if theres a flow through in these channels or just a deep closed channel, My guess is there must be a connection through into another place as im guessing all these compartments are connected in some way, after all this the machine has been tried three times first time no water getting through, second and third time it switched itslef off although not tripping anything, any help would be much apreciated, thanks

Sounds like the valve has locked out remove the small pink pressure hose that goe’s to the valve and clear any water thats in it give the valve a small tap refit hose and it should start to fill.

The inlet valve is what the inlet hose connects too. With respect I think you need to call an engineer in.
