    my dishwasher has started squeeling .So before i dive in What am i looking for and what to do really I am armed with tools and wd40 thanks charles

    Probably the circulating pump seal or bearings. Check under the pump housing for signs of leakage.

    just had a look no water but a slight dried scale stain on the floor . Ok is it something that i could sort

    That stain directly under the circulaing pump housing is it?

    I cannot judge your abilities or need to involve yourself based on the likely cost involved and of course the age of the dishwasher….your call on that. 😉

    ok i understand dont talk to me about bearings i spit on bearings they hold no fears to me i have fitted them when others fear to fit I shall move forward with vigour and determination and if the result is nor fiscaly viable a good covering of beef dripping will suffice
