ParticipantHi Y’all
Afet reading all the advice in this forum, & using the search function, I’m pretty sure that my DH101 needs a new IWMS system.
I have tried cleaning it out, but it only lasts a week or 2.
Although Its probably not worth doing the job, I was thinking of replacing the IWMS as a project, & if i get it working, was gonna give the dishwasher to my brother who hasn’t got a Dishwasher.
So I have 2 questions.
Firstly, I can’t find anywhere that sells the IWMS system, unless its called something else.
So could someone please point me in the right direction.Secondly, As I need to get myself a new Dishwasher, which would you guys recommend as a Sub £200, (easy to work on if it goes wrong).
Thanks a for your help.

IWMS is p/no 1524624-03/6, drop an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for prices and ordering.
If you’re only budgeting for a £200 replacement, your best course of action is to fix yours and keep it.

Hi All
I got the side off. & have disconnected the water inlet valve form the pipe work.
It looks like i have to lift the IWMS unit out before I can get to the pipework attached to it. Is this right? Also I can’t seem to get the iwms unit free of the small round plastic vent that connects it to the inside of the dishwasher.
OK Just found out that the plastic vent thing holding the IWMS on is a screw fit. it unscrews from inside the dishwasher.I also found out that by removing a small galvanised panel at the front of the dishwasher, underneath the door, I can access the pipework.
So far so good.
Any help please.Thanks

Ok new IWMS is now in, just connecting up all pipework, before I put the sides back on & get it up & running.
Will post next once i have got it up & running.

Machine is up & running, of a fashion that it.
It started drawing in water, & began to wash, but did not complete the cycle properly.
Do I have to fill up the IWMS system manually for the first time? from the top where the piece of sponge is or does it do it automatically on first fill up?
Anything else I should know good peeps?
Thanks

Well I’m extremely dissapointed to say the least.
I spent all afternoon fitting this IWMS, & once its done, the Dishwasher is behaving almost as it was before I did the job.
It starts loading water begins to wash, & when it comes to a second wash it just starts humming & does nothing.
GUTTED!
Any help anyone please.
Thanks

Have you cleaned out the two transfer pipes which run across the front of the machine from the IWMS? And is the level switch located properly?

Hi Penguin45
Yeah I cleaned out the Hard pipe that connects to the waste water, & also the thinner clear pipe.
The level switch? Is that the circular thing with wires connected to it?
Saw it bu didn’t touch it as i didn’t know what it was.
I’d better check it out, now you mention it.
Sorry for my ignorance but what should I look for.
Thanks

All sorted!
It was the pipe that connects to the level switch from the IWMS, that either came off or I forgot to reconnect it, Once that was sorted it’s been A1 all the way.
So big thanks to Penguin.
I owe you a drink.

Well done – tell SWMBO to rinse the heavy stuff off the plates before loading to avoid a repetition.
