    All power appears to have gone but then the light comes back on when i open the door and when i move the programme dial around.

    There was quite alot of water in the machine that I have now drained out as well as checking for blockages but there weren’t any and still nothing is happening.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Melted on/off switch is a good bet.

    Power off, if investigating.

    Could be a bad Neutral connection in the supply. Check the plug wiring and try another high current appliance in the socket before investigating inside the dishwasher.
