Tricity Bendix fan oven element

Hi. My fan oven element went last week so I got a spare element that said compatible with the Tricity Bendix TBF 650X. Went to fit new element but the brackets on the old one and new one are different sizes. The new one is smaller so when fitted I can’t actually screw the bracket on. It’s just sitting there with a wee space above it. Is this ok to use? I’m afraid that the wires that have attached onto the element at the back could be exposed due to the bracket being too small. Thanks for any advice

Where did you purchase the element from, has the packaging got any part number on it?

THIS is the correct element for your appliance.

I got it off homespares and the new element is the exact same as the one you have recommended. Part number 3970123018 is exactly the same one I have got and the bracket doesn’t fit.

Can you give us the full pnc or product number of your cooker?

This element is serial number dependant. Please contact Customer Services on 01325 302464.” From Zanuusi UK website. (Zanussi look after TB spares).

As other have said already, full PNC and pnc needed and then it can easily confirmed which element is required. UKWG shop can supply
