No model number can be found on this cooker. 😕
I need the fan oven ring element. Old one is 2kw with two turns and the terminals are some distance away from the ring (about a third or half of the diameter.) Now I got the part no. 357028401 off the old element itself but having got that I put all the panels back and didn’t think to take exact measurements before doing so. Then I thought to but couldn’t be bothered to take out the couple of screws, thinking I’d get there easily with the part no. 😳
Now there are dozens of elements that look pretty similar but I’m not sure which one to go for. One that looks promising is AEG 5208 E611577908 & it has a cheap pattern alternative. Although, unlike the one now in the oven, it doesn’t have a central earth tag.
Another pointer could be that the terminals are at 8 o’ clock when the element is installed, if you see what I mean.
So any suggestions would be appreciated.
BTW, I’ve tried varying the number a bit in Lux’s search box to no avail. And I tried googling it but only got sites in various foreign languages.
    Mike.

Thankyou for that, Phidom; it’s a good bit of lateral thinking but they use a wide bracket element. I should have mentioned this one is a 45/50mm bkt. I shall keep the link for future use though. 😉
I’m going to order the Electrue element and see what happens.
