The machine will turn on ok but turns itself off within about 5 mins.
Read a couple of threads on this already, good info too, but was wondering if anyone came to a conclusion.
Cleaned out any fluff and crap anywhere in the m/c including the sump/micro sw. area.
Heater is good, motor is good.wiring is good.The customer says he broke off the striker for the condenser box door micro sw. and bypassed it about a year ago and it’s worked since…til now. He bypassed it by glueing the button in, can’t see this being the problem.
I suppose I’m looking at a timer but I’d rather not be.
Anyone?
