Tricity Bendix TM310W condensor dryer

Went to this today, full tank light aparntly comes on and stops. It was lying up for 2 weeks when i got there so it ran ok. Bottom tank was dry so if it was full of water it dried up. Seems clean and float isn’t sticking.

However , is it normal for the pump to work only intermittent on these like every few mins and then run for a couple of minutes and stop? Or should it run continuely while operating?

Hi

There are two relays that control the direction of the motor.

Relay 1 motor goes anti clockwise

relay 2 motor now goes in clockwise direction and also activates the pump.

Short is that pump only runs when the drum is turning in a clockwise direction
