Tricity Bendix tm471 t/d belt replacement

Hi I have a belt to replace on the above dryer the motor is on top of this m/c and its my first time coming across this type my prob is I dont know which way the belt goes around the pulley.I think it should go around the pulley and then onto the shaft of the motor but it seems as its too tight to do it this way does anyone have a drawing or advice as to how it goes on?The prod no. is 916830023-01.

Only done a couple but from memory I think the motor is ‘spring loaded’ You have to pull it back to fit the belt.

I think I have some tech info that I sent to my brother in Surrey a few years back, I will dig it out.

Cheers Jim I have it sorted you confirmed what I was thinking it was very tight though.Yes very nice weather for it.
