Tricity Bendix WDR1030 washer/dryer

Have a Tricity Bendix WDR1030 with the drum bearings shot Which will need replacing if the customer gives the go ahead.
Can anybody give me aprox the year of manufacture as the customer says “it is not that old” and no paperwork for the washer/dryer.

Manufactured from 2001, it could be 10 y’old

Very old lady who has to have a live in helper from NZ to look after her.
She said it was only 4-5 yeqars old after I told her I thought it was around the ten year mark.
Will now get back to the helper and give a quote.Very strong accent.

ive always found with the more forgetful folk, rather than say its “10 years old” say, “did some research and they stopped making it 9 years ago so its at least that old”

A far better way of handling elderly folk with forgetful memories gandh1.
I was never very good at diplomacy but will use that in future when trying to tell customers that the unit is not just over a year old and still might be under warranty.

A handy way to get a rough date is to check some of the plastic moldings (usualy the powder drawer)for a date code.
