I have a Tricity Sovereign Model No 4638 great cooker, but if more than a couple of sausages or the odd steak are grilled the whole thing shuts down for ~30 minutes and has to be reset, yes, the air filters are clean, any suggestions as it’s driving us potty and with Christmas looming I feel we may be forced to microwave the turkey and Grandma wouldn’t like that now would she! 😥

Any suggestions would be most welcomed, but we already have the Samaritans contact details.

    Re: Tricity Sovereign

The cooling fan motor is not running, it’s either siezed or the initiation thermostat that switches it on has failed.

Both these parts are still available (many 4638 parts are now obsolete) so you will be able to have it repaired.

If you pop your postcode up one of the UKW engineers should be able to attend for you.

If there’s any problem obtaining spares, let me know.

    Dave.

Many thanks for your advice my postcode is B80, I’d be interested to find a UKW Engineer in the area who knows of the Tricity Sovereign intimately.
