Tricity Sovereign Main Oven Door Hinges

Yes I know someone posted a request for help about this in October. Unfortunately, the suggestion made to try a place in Tamworth does not help, as they don’t have the hinges. So, can anyone help me? I have a much loved Tricity Sovereign 4638. It works perfectly but the main oven door hinges have died. Does anyone have some hinges lying around unsold? Even one would do!

Oddly enough, and I meant to post about this in the other thread, I found one the other week when I was looking for something else (ain’t that always the way ;))

It’s the right hand one, you can have it for a tenner inc postage if you want it.

Oh what a shame – one of the suppliers I phoned last week had tracked down a right hand hinge and I ordered it before seeing your message. Does anyone know where I could find a left hand hinge? Or is anyone able to repair one? We tried to look for an alternative cooker, and could find nothing approaching the Tricity Sovereign

Funny thing – the second of the hinge springs has just gone on our Tricity Sovereign. I guess it’s a 4638, although after 18 years I’m not sure where the documentation is… and it’s too late to start pulling it about this evening!

Any suggestions where I could get a pair(!).

BTW, we’re in the Isle of Man, so it needs to be mail order!
