ParticipantMy 🙄 main problem with this cooker is the control knob for the front left halogen – not working, disassembled, disappeared. Second, is someone to fit a new one! or instructions how to do it myself. I’m in the Brighton area. Also, the cooker could do with a new main oven door assembly!

Can you re-check the model number please, 4H is incorrect.
If it’s an older Soverign it may be 4638/9..

Sorry. Should have been TRICITY SOVEREIGN MODEL IVH ELECTRONIC OVEN (Roman Numerals) with a line over and under the IV. I’ll try to locate the manual – faint hope – but that’s all that seems to be written on the cooker. Bought it about 14 years ago. All the rings are halogen and the cooker’s a darkish smokey brown.

Probably a 4638 then.
The knobs are round with an oval shaped centre piece that pops out ?
If it’s the knob or the selector switch you need these are now obsolete as are the hinges etc for the main oven door.
Time to look at replacing the cooker to be honest (assuming my assumption of the model is correct).

Correct for the knobs. I know 😳 it’s time, but hey, it still works though limping, and comparables do not score that well on a cost benefit analysis. So, thanks anyway, at least I’ve got an idea of the model number. But if anyone has one for breaking, or parts gathering dust somewhere, I’d be grateful. 😀

There was one on here a while back being given away, if you do a forum search for “sovereign” or “4638” you should find it.

I have a Tricity Sovereign IV H all halogen cooker. On Christmas day the ceramic hob cracked. I have now claimed on my insurance so I will be putting my cooker on the tip as soon as I get a new one. Does anybody need spares?

Hi Rosie, do you still have the one you are going to put on tip?
I accidentally smashed the glass of the main oven on a Tricity Sovereign halogen cooker at weekend.Could you describe yours? Is it brown in colour?
