Participantdoes anyone know how to set the timer for the oven to come on while i am out?

You’ll need to tell us the model number please – they’ve been making Sovereigns for 30 odd years…….

model 4638 i think,the one where you have to press the 3 right hand bottom buttons to set the clock

4638 timer is now very obsolete I’m afraid 🙁
You could try QER though as they refurbish such items:

thanks for the link dave but the timer works ok i think i just dont know how to set it for the oven to come on while i am out.have you any idea?

Ah, sorry 😆
Hold the three furthest left hand buttons down on the lower set then turn the adjusting knob to set the time.
If after that it keeps flashing from left to right it’s faulty 😉

hi dave,sorry mate but you still misunderstood me.i can set the time ok and it doesnt flash but what i need to know is how to set the timer so i can go out and the oven will switch on in say,1 hours time and stay on for maybe 30 mins or whatever so my frozen pizza is nicely cooked when i come in 😆

Hi NEVP
set the time you want your food to be ready for eating with the cookpot button symbol with a X or a on it (depends on model), then set the length of time you want your food to be cooked with the other cookpot button with symbol of steam rising from the top, set your temperature thats it the electronics then works out the start cooking time.Cheers Bob.
