This may sound daft but can anyone tell me what the purpose is of a trigger board on a cooker. I have seen several boards with the tracks damaged over the last few years but the cookers still seems to work ok?

It controls the cooling fan from memoery, Creda ovens had them as well. I think they will continue to work but the cooling fan won’t run.

Thanks Dave. I have just seemed to fall in to cooker repairs without any formal training. Hence I have no wiring diagrams etc. I have always wondered what the trigger board controlled 😕 I suppose I could just follow the wires but I don’t want my customers to think I don’t know what I am doing.
