Trim/Button covers for Baumatic BT82.2gl Cooker Hood

We bought and had fitted a Baumatic BT82.2gl Cooker Hood and unfortunately one of the little pastic chrome covers of the soft touch switches was missing. After 6 months of emailing and phoning Baumatic to try and get a replacement I’m giving up, their customer service is appalling. They did at one point send me an entire new switch box, which usefully doesn’t have the chrome covers.

It’s not a big deal but would finsh the item off properly, so has anyone any idea where I could get one of these or happen to have one kicking about in their tool box.

It’ll just be a small oval plastic bit of chrome about 5mm wide and 10mm long that sticks onto the switch …..

Any help appreciated and if anyone wants to buy a switch unit (XCA15100002), I’ve got one going cheap 🙂

Hi Dave,

It’s a Cata hood with a Baumatic badge on it and the switch assembly is listed as a complete item only, the buttons are not shown separately.

The only place you’re liable to get that part is from Baumatic I’m afraid as our access to spares only used by Baumatic is limited. Functional stuff is usually not so much of a problem but for this sort of thing you’ll have to endure Baumatic I’m afraid.
