Hi – we have a Biarritz 11 shower which has suddenly developed the following fault: 👿

Power switch set at “OFF” – power light glows in the indicator window.

Power switch set at any other of the three position (cold, economy, hot) – power light goes out and no water flows.

Appreciate if anyone can suggest which component may be at fault?

    regards

    Iain

Whilst your shower may be white, it does not come under the remit of ‘whitegoods’

That said I have changed the solenoid valve and the flow valve on my Triton shower in the past, however this is not really the place for your question.

It does sound as though you may have a wiring fault, possibly dodgy neutral connection in the isolation switch or inside the unit.

I would advise seeking out a local electrician.

    Iain,

You might want to try this site…. http://www.showerdoc.co.uk/
They’re great and will answer e-mails regarding faults. However, unless you are 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} happy with what you are doing, you must get a qualified person in. Electricty kills and doesn’t take any prisoners…it’s even deadlier when water is involved !!!!!!

    Power off before ANY investigation………
