    Hi.

I intend to use this fridge to store my home made beer at 13 celcius. i have found it is manafactured by an american company called true manafacturing, and the information on the model (GDM 35) is very good, it even has CAD drawings available to view !!

I have seen the operating temps are 0.5 – 3.3 celcius but i think that the thermostat can be calibrated to make it warmer/colder, i would appreciate if anyone could peruse the short PDF and give thier opinions on whats the best way to go about using this superb fridge, if i can indeed make it run at say 13 clecius will doing so cause extra strain to the compressor or maybe even prolong its life ?

    SPECIFICATION PDF HERE

    TEMP CALIBRATION PDF HERE

EDIT: I have emailed them directly but they wont say wheter it can or not as it is ‘designed’ to run at 0.5 – 3.3 so he wont say that i can tune it up.

Any fridge is far too cold for home brew beer so you are wasting your time on that score. You just need a cool dark room in the house, garage or cellar.
