ParticipantI have been out to one of these True manufacturing Co display drinks fridges.
This one is promoting Coca Cola and its model number is: GDM-23.
It is in need of a thermostat as the one on it is freezing up.
Not sure what stat I need and if its an air stat or not? I don’t think it is as the stat fitted has it’s capillary tube pushed into a thin copper tube by what seems to be the evaporator.
Never done one of these, would like to learn more especially considering this one is sat in my local fish and chip shop with one of my adverts hung up on the notice board 🙂
Any advice is much appreciated!
Thanks,

Oh,……………. forgot to mention, the thermostat that is on it is just a normal VT9 domestic fridge stat which another engineer fitted to no avail.

when I was there looking at it todat, I had to remove the stat from a detachable plate fitted to the top of the cooler. It would seem there is no fixing for the stat to go????
