Can you advise how, electrically, a machine, specifically the Creda model 37286, controls between the “high” and “low” heat setting. Whilst the heating element consists of two discrete circuits, both are fed from a common live.

I have just replaced the tocs on the machine, and was intrigued that the only way I could figure out how it could have have been switched was by switching the neutrals, and, with my limited knowledge of electricals (ONC Electrics) thought this highly unlikely. But there you go….
