    I am about to fit a through the wall vent for our tumble dryer.
    I welcome any advise on what to buy or avoid

    avoid gas pipes.

    The easiest way to do this job is to hire a 4″ diamond tipped core drill from a tool hire centre and cut a perfect hole which the vent tube will just slide through. No beating bricks out and making good afterwards. Well worth the hire cost!! 😉

    im with steve on this i have tried the old methon drill lots of holes and chisel into one never again luckly the last lady i did it for was deaf 😆
