does anyone know if there is a new under worktop tumble dryer available with top or central rear vent.
i have a customer who has just had a nice new utility room built and bought new bosch w/m and t/d. the trouble is the builder came back to drill the hole in the wall for vent but the wall has some double damp coarse and the hole would need to be at least 12″ off the floor.
i said thats why they make a flexible hose, just keep the dryer out 4″.
he doesn’t want to spoil the look in the room. :rolls: and needs the machine to sit right back and the hole drilled in exact place.
i know plenty of old machines with central vent but cant think of a new one!

    Hi bzz67

Sorry to dissapoint you but I don`t know of any I`m afraid, your customer may have to go for a condenser dryer :rolls: that`s if the retailer is prepared to exchange, if he purchased off the net he will probably have to fund the return of the vented dryer.

French-built Whirlpools have a centre rear vent eg. AWZ2303

    Hi turbodry

Trouble is it`s just off the floor at skirting level on those models ,whereas bzz67 needs one 12″ off the floor 😉

Yeh, sorry…. I misinterpreted your requirement … It’ll be a condenser dryer then!
