ParticipantGot a customer wanting to buy a new twin tub. Was told about a company in Scotland that was making them, but nobody can put a name to them.

AFAIK all twin tubs now being sold come from China and any that I’ve seen (which was lots at Domotechnica) are utter rubbish.

KeymasterOh that thing is truly horrid Richard. I’ve not seen one but some of the guys here have and it was a service call with a can of petrol and a box of matches as spares job. 😕

ParticipantI’ve never ever seen one.
Qualtex still stock it though (I just done a Check stock availability)
Of course the trouble is, if you sell one, and it breaks down under guarantee (or out of guarantee) are you going to be able to get ALL the spares to repair it? And also if under guarantee who is going to foot the bill, Qualtex maybe???

Went to a Velo the other week and if truth be told the nicest thing about it was the customers own 13a plug, nice see through thing it was. The Velo….utter cack.
There is another thread somewhere and i’m sure that the Qualtex one is the same beast. Spares obsolete after 3 years as well.
