According to my security check this site is suspect, therefore advice do not open
If you want an organisation with plenty of whats in it for me join the Federation of Small Businesses at least they have clought in high places, and are consulted before legislation is passed.

With a membership exceeding 180,000 businesses in the UK. I feel it can stand alone or complement membership of a trade organisation.April 1, 2004 at 12:03 pm #110432oldlonely

I have been a member of UKTC for the last couple of years
as above post, it depends what your looking for, check out their website
my own reasons for joining was to try to give a bit of peace of mind to customers by way of their logo in ads and on the van
i dont need it know as i have a agency, saving me £400 a year in membership….

These Trade Affiliations sure know what to charge eh? and for what? It gains little if no respect by the people/customers you are trying to attract in the first place. £400 for a logo that means nothing and does likewise.
I wonder, oldlonely, if your local Trading Standards runs a scheme in your area similar to the scheme I mention under the thread “Local Trading Standards Authority?”

I was a member donkeys years ago, they do a good job I must say. There was little in it for me though, so I stopped paying up.
